Welcome!

Whether you are brand new to the church thing or you’ve been around church for a while; we want to say welcome!

Our goal at Zion is to create environments and experiences where you can encounter God in the midst of your life.

When you come to Zion on a weekend, our aim is that you would be inspired by the music, encouraged by the message, welcomed by our amazing community of people & be reminded that God’s grace is here!

What We Believe

We believe God’s Word, the Bible, to be true. This scripture is the source of our teachings and practices. We are a Christ-centered church. We believe the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod expression of the doctrine to be true and correct. We believe our salvation through God is by Grace Alone, by Faith Alone and by Scripture Alone.

  Our History

Who is Zion Lutheran Church? Our previous pastor
said we were, “the most loving and caring congregation
a pastor could want.” He must have believed it because
he stayed here for 36 years before retiring in January 2014.

Words that describe us include open, welcoming,
accepting of people, nurturing, caring, unique. Over
the years many guests say we are “the friendliest church
they have ever visited.” No one comes here and goes away without someone greeting and speaking to them.

While Zion is an LCMS (Lutheran Church Missouri Synod) congregation most of our members do not have an LCMS background. Many come from other Lutheran churches, protestant churches, the Catholic Church, and no church.
